You have asked and we have listened. The UAVAIR team have been busy reworking our beginner drone training course, Flight Foundations. Major changes include condensing the content to bring you the course in one day rather than two; as well as reducing the price by $500, now only $495 instead of $995. Our aim is to bring quality, concise content at a price that gives our customers great value for money.
The restructured Flight Foundations course covers the essentials of flying drones, from operating safely (airspace, maps, dangers when flying, li-po safety) and ensuring that you have all the right equipment for the job, to what you need to know to be a confident sub 2kg drone pilot (including CASA regulations). This course is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to confidently take their first drone into the air. It is the perfect place for beginners to start. We also supply all the equipment, meaning you do not need to own a drone to attend this course, the training is conducted on our fleet of DJI Phantom 4’s.
Students who complete this course will receive a Certificate of Attendance in Foundations of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Operations and will also be eligible for RPAS insurance from QBE (perfect for sub 2kg pilots), should they be interested.
