UAVAIR were very proud to be nominated in the Training and Education Provider of the Year category at this year’s Optus My Business Awards held in Sydney.
UAVAIR, operating under parent company and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Basair Aviation College, work very hard to meet the stringent requirements, not only set out by CASA, but also another entity called ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority) in order to deliver our AVI30316 Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot, Visual Line of Sight).
ASQA requires UAVAIR’s training and assessment strategies and practices to include a specified amount of training, consistent with the requirements of training packages and VET accredited courses and enable each student to meet the requirements for each unit of competency or module in which they are enrolled.
So, what does all this mean for you as a person looking to gain training and qualifications in the RPAS industry? You will get a guaranteed level of education and can be assured that you will leave the course, not only with a level of satisfaction in knowing that you’ve competently gained your Remote Pilots Licence (RePL) and your Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate (AROC), but you’ll also received a Nationally Recognised Qualification at a Certificate III level.
By applying for UAVAIR’s Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot, Visual Line of Sight) under the AQF, you may be eligible for a learning subsidy. As this is a Nationally Approved Vocation Education Training course you may be eligible for State based subsidies to reduce the cost of your qualification, you can check with the UAVAIR team to see if you are eligible. By completing a Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot, Visual Line of Sight), you will gain a nationally recognised qualification.
We would like to congratulate all of the very impressive nominees in our category.
